 World Illustration Awards 2017 AOI

Client: NHS East London Foundation Trust.

About: Situated in Newham Centre for Mental health, the wall was designed to introduce to and engage people in the process of Quality Improvement.

The entire project was born from the ideas of local NHS service uses, carers, and volunteers. Using their vision and the guidance of the Quality Improvement team, the concept was developed and refined over the later half of 2016.

The image is hand painted with the assistance of some of the service uses, carers, and volunteers. It depicts a scene on quality improvement on The Greenway, a raised footpath and cycleway that cuts right through the heart of urban Newham, East London.
